Goals
Karleen came to Interview Connections after publishing her book and delivering a TEDx talk, but she knew the momentum from those big moments would fade without consistent visibility. She wanted to sustain the buzz from her TEDx, promote her new book to reach more readers, and grow her email list while positioning herself as a trusted expert in both parenting and conflict resolution. Above all, she was looking for a guaranteed, high-integrity platform that would deliver on its promises and keep her message in front of the right audiences.
Strategy
The Booking Team at Interview Connections placed Karleen on podcasts in categories speaking to her target audience. For example, she spoke on shows about Parenting and Family Life, specifically targeting families with teenagers.
She was interviewed on topics including:
- The Importance of Developing Your Own Parenting Philosophies.
- How to Elevate Your Teen’s Self Confidence
- The 15 Minute Teen Discovery Session
- Embracing Genuine Curiosity When You and Your Teen Don’t See Eye to Eye
Results
Karleen used podcast guesting to breathe life into her message, scale her reach without a team, and build long-term momentum as a thought leader. Within weeks of joining Interview Connections, she began booking podcasts and has now appeared on over 20 shows, including a top 10 U.S. mom podcast, with seven hosts inviting her back. These interviews helped her sharpen her stories, grow her email list by 150+ subscribers, and generate inquiries from organizations seeking her expertise. Each episode also provides ongoing content for social media and her website, keeping her message visible and building her authority in parenting and conflict resolution.
With transparency, support, and consistency, Interview Connections helped Karleen turn decades of experience into a platform of influence!
