Real Estate Investor Converts 50% of Books Sales into Coaching Program
Chris Prefontaine has been in the trenches of the real estate industry for over 25 years. His company has done over $80 million in real estate transactions. He is a practitioner at heart — which is why his company still buys between 4 to 10 properties each month where Chris and his family practices what he preaches. He is the author of the best selling book, “Real Estate on Your Terms.” Chris is an expert at addressing the fundamental problem most business owners struggle with: how to get their wealth out of their business and into other assets just in case they don’t have an opportunity to sell the business (or even if they do sell the business). The diversification of assets can provide a very balanced portfolio and real estate may be one of those investment strategies to consider while building out a balanced financial plan. Chris is also the host of the annual event, “QLS Live” where real estate investors across the country come together for 2-1/2 days to mastermind, share experiences, and learn from experts teaching strategies for building and scaling their real estate businesses.
Goals for Podcast Interviews
Chris Prefontaine joined Interview Connections in January of 2018 with the goal to increase traffic to his webinar as well as developing associates across the U.S. and Canada. He also hoped that by speaking to his target audience and providing free copies of his book, Real Estate on Your Terms, he could attract more clients to his program.
Chris Prefontaine started working with Interview Connections in 2018 by getting booked on 4 interviews per month. Chris chooses to focus on an audience that is looking for a ‘Plan B’ to get out of real estate. He also hoped to attract entrepreneurs looking to break into the real estate industry. He chose to have no geographical restrictions hoping to reach anyone and everyone he could, regardless of location.
His Booking Agent team at Interview Connections booked him on podcasts with the following criteria:
- Any real estate shows that don’t push the ‘Buy on Real Estate Terms’ model.
- Financial shows that reach entrepreneurs of all levels.
- The size of the podcast is large enough so he can reach the most potential clients.
Chris made the most of his interviews on the shows we booked him on and his results speak for themselves. His podcast interviews reaching his target audience helped push traffic to his website where they could retrieve a free copy of his book about his program. Alongside this increased traffic, 50% of those receiving his book are converting to his program.
